Moon Viewing Party (おつきみかい)

We have a festival called ”Otsukimi” in Autumn which means "viewing the moon" in Japan.

This festival ”Otsukimi" is an event for praying for a good harvest.

In Japan, people decorate with silver grasses and offer rice dumplings to the moon.

So let’s make rice dumplings and enjoy it.

We also make a spinning top (bunbun goma) which is traditional toy in Japan.
